Folkstreams.net collects, preserves, and makes available free streaming video of hard-to-find documentary films about American folk or roots culture, giving wider audience to the independent filmmakers and the diverse American artists and groups they have documented. The Folkstreams website also provides in-depth contextual materials about the films and their subjects.
