Description:
The photograph collections in the Arizona State Archives include images from state government as well as private collections. Archives' photographs focus upon the unique cultural heritage of the state and territory of Arizona, beginning in 1863. The principal focus within the collections are materials which predate World War II, some as early as the 1860s.
